Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has set tongues wagging on the internet as a result of his recent interaction with some traders.
He stopped by at a roasted plantain (Boli) spot to buy some after querying contractors on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
A video shared on Twitter by the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat showed when a crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the state’s number 1 citizen.
Sanwo-olu had asked the workers to get rid of some containers that were constituting nuisance and leading to accidents on the highway, and he vowed to no longer tolerate lawlessness.
As they were heading home after the inspection, the governor decided to patronise a roadside boli seller.
Gawat wrote; “After a long day of Work and continuous PARA by Governor @jidesanwoolu around Lagos Badagry Expressway, We all used BOLI (Bole) to step down the tension as we headed back home. 😁😁 #GreaterLagosRising”
