Why I can’t wait to retire – Singer Simi

Multi award-winning Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, professionally known as Simi, has revealed that she’s anxiously waiting to retire from music.

The mother-of-one explained that she has a retirement plan which would be to start her own kids’ show when she officially retires.

Simi, known for hit song, Duduke, made the disclosure through her verified Twitter handle on Saturday, August 14.

The 32-year-old singer and songwriter said she has been working on the soundtracks for many years.

Simi wrote; “My retirement plan is my own kids show. I’ve been working on music for years. I can’t wait. So help me God.”

Ronaldo also revealed how many years are remaining for him to hang the boot and where he wants to live after retirement.

The 38-year-old was quoted by Madrid Xtra as saying that he wants to continue playing for two or three more years.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also said that he would return to Madrid and live in the Spanish capital after his retirement.

The ex-Man United star said; “My future? I would like to play for 2/3 years more. When I retire, I will return to live in Madrid.”

World’s oldest professional footballer, Kazuyoshi Miura, has said that he wishes to continue playing football.

56-year-old Miura told Sport TV that he intends to play until when he is 60 years old. The Japan forward currently plays for Portuguese Second Division side, Oliveirense.

He said: “If I did not get help from the players and the coach, I would not be here. I am very grateful to the team and all the people who are around the team. I intend to play until I’m 60.”

Miura, who also played in Brazil with Santos, made his first team debut in 1986. The attacker has played for Genoa, Palmeiras, Vissel Kobe, Dinamo Zagreb, Yokohama, Sydney FC, among others.
