Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that earlier this month, AY said all the problems he’s encountered in recent months started when he declared support for the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 Presidential election, Peter Obi.

The seasoned comedian made the remark during his AY Live comedy show, adding that despite what’s been happening, he still does not regret throwing his weight behind Obi.

The 30 Days in Atlanta star recalled some of the issues he began to experience issues following the elections, which include a fire outbreak at his house, getting into a serious argument with Davido and Seun Kuti, and almost ending his marriage.

“As I am here, I still stand before you and tell you that ‘I do not regret supporting Peter Obi’…,” AY said, causing an eruption of applause and cheers from the audience.

“Na where my problem start be this oh,” the comedian said in response to the cheers, adding; “But fire never burn una house ohh.”
