An American man has taken to social media to celebrate his latest achievement while recollecting his struggles in recent months.
The young guy known as @urmce on Twitter revealed that he just bought a house just a year after being homeless.
He took to the microblogging platform on July 8 to share a picture of himself holding the key to his new crib and disclosed by this same time last year he was homeless.
He also recalled how he used squat on people’s couches, floors and even sleep outside. The new homeowner noted that sleeping and waking up in his own house made him burst into tears of joy.
Sharing the photo, @urmce captioned; “New beginnings š„¹”
He added; “I was literally homeless this time last year & for weeks, i woke up on couches, on floors, & some cases outside.. waking up in my own place these last few days left me with nothing but tears of joy. So blessed to be where iām at”

Meanwhile, another African American man has recounted amid sadness how he lost everything and was rendered homeless after cheating on his girlfriend.
In a video which has gone viral, he opened up on the big plans they had as a couple which all crumbled as a result of his unfaithfulness. The homeless guy was speaking with a content creator who gave him $500 after he revealed his biggest regret in life.
He explained that he and his girlfriend were supposed to buy a car, house and live together as a family but all that could no longer happen after he cheated.
Sharing his story while in tears, the man urged others to learn from his mistake and ensure that they respect their women and not end up like him. When the good Samaritan gifted him the 500 dollars, the depressed man was overjoyed and gave him a big hug.
He said; I say cheating on my girl cos after I cheated on her, I lost everything. So thatās my biggest regret right there.
We talked about buying a house, we talked about buying a car, just living the life together but now look at me, Iāve got nothing, Iāve lost it. If you got a good girl, just love her and cherish her donāt be like me.
In other news, Nigerian singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known by his stage name, Iyanya, has revealed that his colleague, Kingsley Okonkwo aka Kcee accommodated him when he first moved to Lagos.
He revealed this during a recent interview with Naija FM 102.7, explaining that Kcee allowed him to stay under his roof for two years.
The āKukereā crooner revealed that it was the Limpopo hit maker that bought him his first flight ticket from Cross River to Lagos state. Iyanya also argued with the interview about their similar waist whining styles and noted that Kcee was a better dancer than him.
He said; Kcee was the person who bought me my first [flight] ticket from Calabar to Lagos. And I stayed with Kcee for two years. So, na Kcee na him whine waist pass. I dey tell you since you no want hear na. We were together this morning before I came for this interview.
