A Nigerian female pilot has taken to social media to celebrate after flying the plane that superstar singer, David ”Davido” Adeleke boarded.
The young lady known as @fummzzy on Twitter relished her journey and success more than two years after she applied to become the personal pilot of Davido.
In February 2021, she quoted a tweet of OBO pleaded with the music star for the opportunity to flying him around the world, saying she had a Commercial Pilot License.
The pilot had written on Twitter; “Dear @davido I am a 24-year-old female, who holds a Commercial Pilot License in airplanes.
All I want is to be hired as your pilot and fly that jet that is behind you. Thank you in advance for the privilege to speak further with you about this opportunity.God bless you!”
Fast-forward to December 2023 and she flew Davido to his recently held concert in Abuja, the nation’s capital and she reflected on her past tweet.
She shared a video showing the DMW boss alighting from the aircraft with her standing by the ladder and he stepped on the tarmac.
According to @fummzzy; “It’s so funny how the beginning of my career I got dragged badly on Twitter because I tweeted at Davido that I wanted to fly him on his jet.
Well, yesterday I got to fly him tho not on his jet. Moral lesson: Life with it’s twist and turns sometimes eventually aligns✨”
