I’ll quit music after my next album – Davido

Popular Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke professionally known as Davido, has hinted at leaving the music industry soon.

The ‘Fee It’ hit-maker informed fans via microblogging site, Twitter that he would quit music after he releases his next album.

Davido disclosed this on Thursday night while reacting to the recent pictures and videos doctored against him by some blogs.

The Omo Baba Olowo lamented bitterly that some persons desperately want him out of the music industry, so he will grant their wish.

He wrote on Twitter: “Yall niggas really want me out the game that bad ?? Oya after next album I no do again . So una fit get peace”.

The record label owner had previously shared a photoshopped image of himself posted by blog and wrote; “Nah God go punish THE SHADE BOROUGH”.

Meawhile, CorrectNG recalls that the music executive and artiste, earlier revealed that he’s finished recording his new album and it is ready for release.

Davido made the revelation during a live streaming session with international streamer, Kai Cenat when he visited Lagos, Nigeria as part of his global tour.

The Fem crooner linked up for lunch with the streamer and while having the meal, he stated that they are both good in their respective fields.

The Omo Baba Olowo also told Kai Cenat that the yet to be released album consists of 15 songs and he featured six artistes.

When Davido realised that he was sharing too much details about his next project, which is supposed to be a secret, he put himself in check.

The singer said; “Same way streaming is your work, recording is my work. We picked lot of records over time, this next record I think I put 15 songs, to about six features.”
