General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, (RCCG) Pastor E.A Adeboye, has reacted to rumours that he consults demonic forces at Redemption camp before mounting the altar to preach and prophesy to his members.
Adeboye charged the congregation to pray for him to pass on before sunrise if he is indeed guilty of consulting demons.
In a video from his address at the ongoing August Holy Ghost convention, the revered cleric said his attention was drawn to some publications where some so-called prophets and groups of persons made the allegation.
He said he does not mind people spreading such rumours about him, but while he was praying for the convention, it occurred to him that even some members of his church may have believed the reports spreading like wildfire.
Adeboye said in part; “I want you to say this prayer, If Pastor Adeboye has any links with any demonic powers, let him die before the sun rises. But if he is using your power, multiply the powers by seven folds.”

Reacting, @RealtorLabake; Well, this isn’t people’s outcry. The outburst on him is sudden silence on APC ‘s evil but he was very vocal during Jonathan period. The accurate prayer point should be if his hands is dirty with filthy lucre from politicians let God make his end like Herod.
@Ohams4PeterObi; No na… this is not right. Anybody can accuse Daddy GO of anything they like, but that he is using demonic powers? Haba… who uses demonic powers and lasts this long in ministry? Even the devil will be shortchanging himself by doing so. I feel sad he had to do this.
@EarForYou_Ng; This is giving me 2 scenarios from the bible. 1 kings 18 Ecclesiastes 8 vs 11 though even if he’s using other powers God won’t kill me because we operate under the umbrella of grace x what assures them their prayers penetrates heaven?
@_Honay; Wowww. It must have really gotten to him. People should really leave these men of God alone and stop saying nasty stuff about them. If you don’t connect with them, leave their church and leave them to the One who’ll judge all of us.
