Kizz Daniel denies hiring his former label boss

Ace Nigerian Afropop singer, Daniel Anidugbe, known by his stage name, Kizz Daniel, has debunked reports that he employed his former record label boss, Emperor Geezy.

He cleared the air in a statement by his manager, Louiza Williams, saying he only renewed his working relationship with Emperor Geezy, the founder of G-Worldwide, so as to have more time to work on his music.

The statement noted that contrary to the news that had gone viral on social media, Kizz Daniel neither signed nor hired the music to manage his imprint, Flyboy Inc.

The ‘Buga’ singer said; “When Emperor Geezy came on board, he awakened the ‘Kizz Daniel’ of where I started, and that is one thing I appreciate about him each time we work together. He is my charger. With the new arrangement, I will have more time to devote to making good music.”

According to Louiza, the duo only sealed a collaborative partnership to foster mutual artistic growth and innovation.

She added that the duo’s new business relationship was in form of a partnership that saw Daniel voluntarily relinquishing his role as the Chief Executive Officer of Flyboy Inc to Emperor Geezy.

Louiza said; “Under this partnership, while Kizz Daniel will prioritise his music career and strengthen his global fan connections, the international music star will be leaving crucial business decisions of his brand and record label in capable hands.”

She also stated that Daniel’s decision to collaborate with the G-Worldwide boss was based on the shared vision of cultivating a supportive and creative environment for the artist.

Recall that both parties jointly signed a new act, Pryme, on Flyboy Inc and G-Worldwide. The artiste was featured on a song titled, ‘Show You Off’, off Daniel’s latest album titled, ‘Maverick’.
