Nigerian music star, Fireboy DML, has explained the reason he started smoking cannabis known by its street name, weed; despite initially saying he does not take the intoxicating substance.
A fan questioned him about his lyrics on ‘Bandana’ which features Asake, where he talked about how he does not ‘blow trees’ and in another lyrics, he sang ‘Wake up in the morning and I roll one…’
The conflicting words in his song led the fan known as Lucee on Twitter to write; Fireboy: “I no dey blow trees…”
Also Fireboy: “Wake up in the morning and I roll one…”
Me: Roll what Oga?
Fireboy: “I no dey blow trees…”
Also Fireboy: “Wake up in the morning and I roll one…”
Me: Roll what Oga?
Fireboy: “Gimme one indica and one sativa too..”
Responding to the query, the YBNL artiste explained to the curious lady that people change their perspective, characters and decisions in life.
Fireboy simply tweeted; ”People change, Lucee.”
