How una dey survive for this economy – Erigga announces giveway for ‘only ashawos’

Nigerian rapper, Erigga, has unveiled a giveaway scheme meant strictly for sex workers known in local parlance as ‘Ashawos’.

The music star expressed worry over how the call girls have been surviving amid the worsening hardship in the country and promised to send them money.

Erigga, in a Twitter post on Tuesday, asked only those who are ashawos to send their account number so that he can credit them with N20,000 each.

He wrote; “I wonder how ASHAWO dey take survive dis hard ECONOMY, if u be ASHAWO send ur AZA make I CRED!T u 20k… ONLY ASHAWO ohh!!!”

CorrectNG recalls that Nigerian singer turned blogger, Tunde Ednut was the first to announce a giveaway plan for sex workers.

He had taken to his Instagram page and revealed that he will credit the bank account of anybody who’s into prostitution (olosho) or that’s done it before.

Tunde Ednut specified that it is only those who are ashawos/oloshos that should drop their bank account numbers for it to be funded.

He wrote; “If you be ashawo, you don do olosho before, paste your aza make we bless you. Only ashawo ooo! Paste AZA respectfully…”

Women flooded his comment section and claimed to fall under the category while men asked it the giveaway also extends to men.
