Popular Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti, has recounted his unpleasant experience in police custody.
Recall that he was arrested for assaulting a police officer and consequently remanded in prison for days before his eventual release.
Seun was remanded at the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department, SCIID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos on the orders of the Yaba Chief Magistrate Court.
The Grammy nominated musician regained his freedom on Tuesday night, May 23.
Taking to his Instastory on Friday, Kuti shared his ordeal in jail.
Th activist said he was made to lay down on a hard cold floor with other prisoners.
However, the controversial singer added that it was better tha fraternising with politicians in the ‘Devils house’
Seun wrote; “Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners, still better than sitting in the devil’s house with politicians.”
The singer has flown out to Switzerland, which is where he will be starting his European music tour.
In other news, a Nigerian lady identified as Maryam Lasisi has revealed that she lost interest in a man he was interested in dating due to his reaction to losing out in sports betting.
She recounted when she called him on phone and he was crying uncontrollably because his ticket cut and she felt irritated.
According to Maryam, though she does not see anything wrong with a man showing emotions, she felt the way he cried was too much for a man.
She explained that her impression of him changed because of that incident, so she dumped the idea of going into a relationship with him.
Maryam wrote; ”I called him and he was crying because his bet cut. I’m all for men showing emotions but hearing “Omo I f**k up” while someone was crying his eyes out was very cringe. Omo, I couldn’t look at him the same way again abeg.”
