A commercial keke rider, Auwalu Salisu, has been promised four women for marriage after he returned N15 million a passenger forgot in his tricycle.
The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, (Mai Dalilin Aure), offered four wives to the young man for his uncommon display of honesty.
CorrectNG reported few days ago that the owner of the money traveled to Kano state, Nigeria from the Republic of Chad to buy goods.
The 22-year-old tricycle driver made the commendable decision to return the entire cash which he found in the backseat after hearing a message about the missing money on a radio station in Kano.
Salisu, who said his friends and relatives had been mocking him for his gesture, was asked to choose four out of 10 women to marry him.
Speaking on Freedom Radio, Kano, the Chairman of the matchmaking association, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, said that among the ladies, two were his daughters.
He added that the integrity, honesty and trust displayed by the tricyle rider qualified him for the honour.
“The boy has shown the good character of our Noble Prophet, Muhammad (SAW). He is indeed trustworthy.
“That is why we have decided to honour him with these gifts. There are 10 women for him to select four. Two of them are my daughters,” Yakasai said.
