A Nigerian man, Gbadamosi Musbau, has reflected on the kind hearted gesture that a friend demonstrated towards him during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said that he was working as a teacher at a school where he earned N30,000 per month, but he stopped getting salary because school closed due to the lockdown.
Gbadamosi revealed that he tied the knot in 2020 and this was the same period that many businesses and companies faced challenges.
According to the educationist, a friend known as Ilemona Omeje started giving him salary monthly during the lockdown era and he did so until schools reopened.
Gbadamosi was full of thanks and prayers for the guy who came to his rescue at a time he needed financial help.
He wrote; “I got married in 2020 during covid. My 30K teaching job stopped paying due to school closure. My friend, Ilemona Omeje placed me on monthly salary till our school opened back. May Allah continue to bless him for me.”
In other news, a Ghanaian woman has shared a domestic matter of financial allocation by her husband which is bothering her.
She lamented that her hubby gives his parents money for upkeep and other things but he does not do the same for her parents.
The married woman said he earns GHc 20,000 (N914k) salary monthly and out of the money, he gives her GHc4500 (N205k) while he gives his parents GHc2000 (N90k).
She said that she made him realise that she was not happy with the fact that he does not give her dad, mum or siblings any money.
She suggested that there should be a rotational arrangement whereby they send to both their parents on a monthly basis.
He, however, discarded the suggestion and said that she should give herparents from the GHc4500 he gives her monthly.
The post reads; Something is bothering me and I need y’all help quick. So I’m married and I’m about to have my first baby, I’m not really working tho but my husband is. He earns 20000gh+ monthly (including his business income).
So he give me 4500 monthly, give his parents 2000gh each plus his younger brodas…and sisters. But there’s one thing bothering me and that’s he doesn’t give my parents and brothers and sisters money too. I told him we have to be doing it rotational, atleast if u give your parents money this month, the next month will go to my parents but he said he’s not going to accept that.
He said if I want to give my parents money, I should do that from the money he give me every month and u know things are costly. The money sef he give me is not even enough and he’s saying I should give my parents money from there. What should I do now?
