Popular Nigerian televangelist, Pastor David Ibiyeomie has revealed that he gave God the sum of $1 million when he did not own a house.

The Founder of Salvation Ministries made this declaration while speaking to the members of his congregation as he noted that only the accountant knew the amount he gave at the time.

According to Ibiyeomie, if the Bible were to be written today, his name would be in the Holy Book as a result of his generosity because his gift would have been considered larger than Solomon’s gift to God.

He stated that his gift to the Almighty opened doors that paved way for him to become one of the wealthiest preachers on earth. The pastor further said that being a successful as he is doesn’t come by luck until one proves to God in order to testify of His faithfulness.

He said in part: “I gave God one million dollars when I had no house. If Bible was to be written now, my name would be written. I gave it on a Sunday, my wife was not even aware until she heard my testimony. It was only the Church accountant that knew as a privilege of his office when he saw her volume of money that came in”.
