Why I didn’t sue Idowest for leaving my label to join DMW – Dammy Krane

Nigerian musician, Dammy Krane has explained why he didn’t take legal action against rap sensation, Idowest after he abandoned his contract to join Davido’s record label, DMW.

Dammy Krane said he did not drag the rapper to court for not honouring the terms of their agreement because all he intended was to give him a platform, so he ‘left it to God’.

Idowest went live on social media and asked him what he did when he signed him. He criticized Dammy for signing him without providing any financial support or accommodation.

The Hip Hop act expressed disappointment for not taking care of him as a signee, emphasizing the inconvenience and hardships he faced while working on his music.

But in a reaction via Twitter, Krane stated that the contract he gave Idowest does not come with money, as all he did was provide a platform for his music to soar.

He stated that the rapper blew and jumped ship to DMW without delay. Dammy Krane added that Idowest’s display of ingratitude is one of the reasons people do not help others in need.

He wrote: “I gave Idowest a platform (management contract doesn’t come with money; he read the contract). After he blew, he joined 30BG. I didn’t drag them to court and I left it to God and nxgga still saying shxt. Na why people no dey help people be dis.”
