Victor Osimhen demands N8billion to stay at Napoli

Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen will be ready to sign a contract extension if his salary is bumped up to $8million a year.

Tutto Napoli reports that the Nigeria international is demanding €8 million (N8 billion) per year before he agrees on a new contract.

Osimhen moved to the Serie A club two years ago and played a crucial role as they won the title after 33 years last season.

The Super Eagles superstar scored 26 goals in the league and another five in the Champions League as Napoli went all the way to the quarterfinals for the first time.

In the offseason, Osimhen has been targeted by top clubs like Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich. However, Napoli are hoping to hold onto the player and want to extend his contract till the summer of 2027, as his current deal will expire at the end of next season.

Osimhen currently earns €6 million (N6 billion) per year, but the Serie A champions want to increase his pay to €7 million per year.
