“The audacity” – Priscilla Ojo slams Naira Marley over suit against her mum, Iyabo Ojo
Priscilla Ojo, fashion entrepreneur and daughter of seasoned actress, Iyabo Ojo, has lambasted famous rapper, Naira Marley over the lawsuit he threatened to file against her mum for defamation.
Naira Marley had sent a letter to Iyabo through his lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, where he outlined the accusations she made in an Instagram post in September 2023, accusing him of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
The musician demanded a public apology and noted that failure to do so will leave him with no choice than to get an injunction restraining her from talking about him and getting N500 million in damages.
Reacting, Priscilla ranted in a legthy post on her Instagram story and wondered where Naira got the audacity to challenge her mother.
The influencer pointed out that the artiste has other issues to worry about, like his unresolved legal matters concerning Mohbad’s catalog and unpaid music royalties as well as the allegations that his crew assaulted the late rapper.
She also expressed disappointment at Nigerians criticizing her mother for allegedly clout-chasing and explained that Iyabo Ojo went beyond online activism, put her kids; safety and career at risk all in her fight for justice for Mohbad.
