Super Eagles star, Onyekuru completes move to Saudi club Al Feiha

Saudi Arabia Professional League club, Al Feiha has confirmed the signing of Nigeria international, Henry Onyekuru.

The 26-year-old, who signed a two-year contract with the option of an extra year, linked up with Al Feiha from Turkish Super Lig club, Adana Dermispor.

Onyekuru has been assigned jersey number 7 for the new season. The versatile forward spent last season on loan at Adana Dermispor from Greek club, Olympiacos.

The move was made permanent this summer but Adana Dermispor decided to sell the Nigerian over disciplinary reason. He reconnected with compatriot, Anthony Nwakaeme at Al Feiha.

Onyekuru registered eight goals and three assists in 28 appearances for Adana Dermispor last season. The former Monaco winger previously played in Belgium, Turkey, France and Greece.

Kylian Mbappe recently told Paris Saint-Germain that he will not leave the club under any circumstances this summer.

Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire next year. The 24-year-old forward feels let down by PSG’s transfer policy amid reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid. He will be frozen out of PSG’s squad and will not play for the club until his contract runs out.

Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano earlier reported that Paris Saint-Germain put up Mbappe for sale, dropping him from their preseason trip to Japan.

He stated this in a Twitter post on Friday July 21, he said the Ligue 1 champions reached the decision to sell the French captain.

“Kylian Mbappé has been left out of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the pre-season tour in Japan. Decision made by PSG tonight. Understand PSG consider Mbappé FOR SALE starting from today.

“Paris Saint-Germain feel Kylian Mbappé wants to leave for free in 2024 — he did not communicate anything yet despite Al Khelaifi’s public statement. PSG decided to EXCLUDE Kylian from Japan tournée,” Romano tweeted.
