Seyi Vibez reveals he recorded first song at 14 [Video]

Buzzing Nigerian street and Afrobeats musician, Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi aka Seyi Vibez has revealed how young he was when he made his first music.

The 23-year-old ‘Chance’ hit-maker said he was 14 years old when he hit the studio to record his first ever song.

Seyi made this known an interview session with SMADE on his Afronation podcast while also talking what inspired him into becoming a musician.

He explained that as growing child, he loved how music videos are made, and that spiked his interest in music. He recalled the time a friend took him to the studio to have an idea of how music was recorded.

According to the singer, when he reached the studio, he was blown away by the whole studio setup and had wished to be part of that setting someday.

Seyi further revealed that his mother has been supportive ever since he told her about his intentions to embrace music as a career.

Budding rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu also known as Odumodublvck recently said he likes sensational singer, Seyi Vibez.

The Picanto crooner said he admires Seyi because he does not follow the trend or laid down rules in the Nigerian music industry.

He stated this through his official Twitter account while grouping himself and the ‘Bullion Van’ singer in the same up-and-coming category.

Odumodu stressed that people like them must do things different as that is the only way to ‘succeed in the jungle’.
