Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie, popularly known as Erigga has left a fan who dropped out of the university, totally disappointed after begging him to sponsor his education.
The young man identified as James Eje Matthew gained admission into Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, Katsina in 2021 but he lost it because he did not have money for school fees.
However, fast-forward to 2023, he made the decision to go back to school and pleaded with Erigga through Twitter, to help him achieve that goal.
He shared a copy of his admission letter from 2021 and wrote; “Oga erigga please help me I want to go back to school please”
In reaction, the Hip Hop artiste rephrased Burna Boy’s popular catchphrase, ‘you go explain tire’ and asked Matthew to “Keep explaining 🎤”

Today, she gained admission into Unilag to study Education and history. I’m not crying I promise😊 Hope, is everything. Okay let’s help Elizabeth settle into undergraduate life with ease. They still don’t have a place to live and she still does menial Jobs(Cleaning homes and offices) to support her mother.
We’re still fully committed to paying her tuition through University but I think at this point, she needs a Female mentor more than anything else. Please send @iamainembabazi a message if you can commit sometime to mentoring her. We can’t stop believing.”
