“Izzue” was never Davido’s song – Producer Shizzi schools Dammy Krane

Nigerian music producer, Shizzi, has weighed in on the debt controversy between music star, Davido and his colleague, Dammy Krane.

He said the claim by Krane that their 2015 hit song, “Izzue” was Davido’s song is false because it was made as a joint song.

Shizzi recalled producing the song, and noted that the publicist or media executive that released Izzue as Davido’s song is the one that should be questioned.

He took to Twitter to make the clarification after Dammy Krane had a back and forth regarding royalties for some songs they did together.

Davido shared their of their collabos, one of which was Izzue and tweeted; “I never got paid for that also my 3 verses I’ve gifted you all your dead careeer … .. oh yea plus my royalties , we charge now so that’s about $150 k x3 a verse.. also house rent and food when when u stayed in my house in Atlanta when you were homeless .. ⏳”

But Dammy Krane quickly replied that the song belongs to OBO as it was only the video that was released as a collabo.

He wrote: “See as you wan disgrace yourself 🤣 na now you go really get that izzue

1 : ‘Izzue is your song’ , you featured me bro & it was released on your YouTube & Digital platforms ( you chop all the money alone ) Thank God everything is Online ( receipts Dey ).

However, Shizzi said both artistes were wrong in claiming that the track belonged to the other person.

““Izzue” was never a David song!!! Me and Krane cooked up the song initially then David jumped on it afterwards. They shot a video and released it as a collabo. Whoever was in charge of the release then is the one Krane should question in regard to the song not David!!!” he wrote.
