“I’m going mad in this country” – Williams Uchemba laments over numerous challenges (Video)

Popular Nigerian actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba has lamented about the poor electricity supply and unavailable of diesel to power generators across the country.

Williams Uchemba shared a video on his verified Instagram page with a caption asking for permission to rant.

The seasoned actor said he lives in an estate in Ikoyi area of Lagos state which was popular for having interrupted power supply, however, that has changed.

He stated that things have now gone so bad that the estate that used to have electricity for 24 hours barely gets adequate power supply.

According to him, the PHCN manager in his area was contacted and he insisted that the estate chairman must come and see him,so that he can get ’Christmas money’.

He further lamented about the inability of his driver to purchase diesel for him to use and power his generator as it is unavailable in most fuel stations.

Uchemba said that he has now resorted to speaking to his neighbours who have diesel to buy from them and that some of them have increased the price from the N1200 per litre.

‘’I am going mad in this country… The rich is not crying. The rich is dying. With all your money, you will die in Nigeria,” the Nollywood actor said.
