I’ll never tell her anything again – Tiwa Savage reveals how her mum leaked her secret
Popular Afropop singer, Tiwa Savage, has vowed never to share confidential information with her mother anymore she disclosed something that was supposed to e a secret.
She recounted when she was invited to perform at King Charles III’s coronation few months, and she informed her mother and asked her not to tell anyone about it only for her to tell her brother 20 minutes later.
The “Somebody’s Son” crooner shared the incident during an interview with MTV UK, saying that her brother called her and she decided not to tell her mum anything like that again.
According to Tiwa Savage, she didn’t realise initially how big a deal it was to perform at King’s Charles coronation.
She said; “When I got the call about performing at the King’s coronation, I didn’t tell a lot of people at first. But eventually, I told my mum and as always I was like, Mum, please don’t tell anyone. Then literally 20 minutes later, my brother is calling me, he was like, ‘Oh my gush!’ And I’m like, mum, wow! So, I’m not telling my mum anything again.
“Initially, I didn’t realize how big a deal it [performing at the King’s coronation] was. And I also didn’t know who else was going to be performing either. So, I didn’t know I was going to be the only one representing the Commonwealth. So, when I started getting that information, I was like, ‘Wow! No pressure.’ It was great though.
“Like I said, to represent the Commonwealth, and just looking back at the performance. It was iconic. It was such a great experience for me.”

When asked about marriage plans, Bob said; “For now, I don’t know if I’m ever going to get married. I haven’t found any husband material. Money that’s all. Even if I make enough money and I want to date for love, I can’t settle for a broke guy.”
Interestingly, in the same interview, the self-acclaimed Mummy of Lagos finally revealed the identity of his male lover.
He identified his “boyfriend” as Ade and disclosed that he said he is an elderly man who lives at Banana Island, Lagos.
He said; “He hasn’t put a ring yet na. So, he cannot restrict me to be with one old person. I’m seeing more people.. Money o, rich o, billionaire o.
“His name is Ade. That’s his real name. He’s not on social media. He is an old man. He doesn’t know if I talk about him on social media. We have so many Ade’s na.”
