Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Essien, also known as Chef Hilda Baci, has said she does not want to date or marry a man that can cook.
She said that she likes cooking a lot and her friends can attest to the fact that she will take care of her lover and serve him meals at anytime of the day.
Hilda Baci made this known while featuring on a podcast as she noted that cooking is one of the things she likes to do for people she cares about.
According to the Guinness World record holder, she prefers having a man who often orders her food and doesn’t have a problem with it.
She said; “I don’t want a man that knows how to cook. I like cooking so much…. That’s one of the things I like to do for people I care about especially for my man.
“You can wake me up in the middle of the night and say ‘babe I want a doughnut, I want meatpie’ and I’m flying to the kitchen to make it for you. I want a man that can order me food. If you don’t have a problem ordering me food, I am in love with you.”

A Nigerian man identified as Shola, has recounted the frightening domestic incident that made him to start helping his wife with kitchen duties.
He said he used to be very uninterested with home affairs when he newly got married because he believed that all a man needs to do is provide for the family.
Shola narrated how he found his wife unconscious in the kitchen when he returned from work and the food she was cooking had burnt.
In his words; When I newly got wedded. I had the believe that all a man needed to do is to work, so he can provide for his family. So I do work hard. I did extra jobs too; make provisions and live a life I have always wanted.
Having done my part as a man, I was expecting my wife to be perfect in her own role in the home also even though she was into her own personal creative work.
Whenever I get home; I would sit, relax and wait to be served. It wasn’t as if I was completely physically disabled but I don’t really get engaged in the major house chores.
