Winner of Headies 2023 ‘Rookie of The Year’ award, Tochukwu Ojogwu better known as Odumodublvck has revealed that popular singer, Fireboy DML didn’t charge him to feature on his song.
Odumodublvck said when Fireboy featured on his track, ‘Firegun’, he was still an up-and-coming artiste, and no fee was demanded by the YBNL act.
He made this known through his Twitter page while reacting to a video where the ‘Peru’ crooner said he had been listening to his songs since 2020.
Odumodu wrote; “Fire Call Me Say E Dey Come My House. We Recorded Like 3 Jams. E No Collect Shishi For My Hand.
Bear In Mind Say That Time I Be Nobody. I Can Never Forget The Love Wey E Show Me. Never.”

Popular Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Odumodublvck, earlier revealed that ace singer, Zlatan Ibile featured on ‘Picanto’ for free.
He made the disclosure in a bid to address the issue of rising artistes expecting big musicians that they featured to also promote their songs.
Odumodu who featured Zlatan and Ecko Milez on the hit song, said it will be stupidity for him to ask someone who did not charge him a fee to post the song links.
According to him, Fireboy also gave him a free feature and they did the most important thing by showing up, recording and appearing in the music video.
