A staunch fan of Davido identified as Emmanuel Myam, has arrived at Lagos days after embarking on a road trip from Benue State on his bicycle to meet the award-winning singer.
Emmanuel with Twitter username @emmiwuks reached Lagos state on Friday, August 18, 2023, amidst a thunderous welcome by the Tiv community in the state.
Ex-aide to former governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state, Olikita Ekani, announced the arrival of the oversealous fan through his Facebook page on Friday evening.
Sharing photos, he wrote; “Emmi Wuks, fast-rising celebrity, bicycle rider, and ardent supporter of Nigerian music superstar Davido has finally arrived in Lagos.
“He was welcomed by Mdzough U Tiv Lagos State members and Benue Chubby Queen Miss Kpadoo Upev. Congratulations and best wishes to him!”

Emmanuel commenced a journey from Benue state to Lagos few days ago in a bid to meet his favourite artiste, OBO.
But the DMW boss had initially told the young cyclist to turn back because he was presently not in his Lagos residence.
A Twitter user, @ssbbmuzi had shared photos of the fan whom he said had already spent eight days on the road.
He wrote; “A young man called @emmiwuks embarked on a Benue to #Lagos on a bicycle to meet #Afrobeat Superstar @davido He is currently on Day 8 today.”
Davido quoted the tweet and wrote; “Turn around I’m not home.”
However, in a recent development, the overzealous fan insisted that he is not quitting the journey, rather he is changing destination to Ogun state.
“Am not going back Boss I most present my gift 🎁🎁 to you @davido Benin state heading to Ogun any moment from now…” he wrote.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner who subtly chided him for refusing to turn back then asked for his account details. He also told the fan to pause and resume the journey when he (Davido) returns.
“U no wan hear …. Oya send account … then u can do ur great journey when I’m back ❤️” the singer tweeted.
