Popular Afrobeats singer, Peruzzi has revealed that his record label boss, Davido has never collected money from him since they met.
The ‘Majesty’ crooner made this known during a chat with Motolani Alake, Melody Hassan and Excel Joab on the Zero Conditions Podcast.
Peruzzi said that when he newly got signed, Davido often explained that he was trying to help him and his other signee to become stars.
He, however, said that the payment OBO gets from him comes in form of loyalty. According to Peruzzi, the DMW boss can call him at any time and he will drop everything for him.
The 34-year-old singer also revealed that he gets royalties from his songs with Davido, including the ones he wrote for the superstar.
Peruzzi said; “Davido hasn’t taken one naira from me since I’ve met him. I pay him back with loyalty. David can call me anytime for anything.”

CorrectNG reported that Harrison Tare Okiri, the singer better known as Harrysong, has claimed that his former boss and colleague, Kcee collects his royalties.
He took to social media on Sunday, December 17, 2023 to beg Kcee to pay his royalties which he has been collecting for the past seven years.
It may be recalled that Harrysong who was formerly signed to Five Star Music fell out with Kcee in 2016 over an internal dispute.
The ‘Beta Pikin’ crooner in a post on his Instastories, urged his fans to help him appeal to Kcee to release what rightfully belongs to him. He said the ‘Limpopo’ hit-maker can take his own percentage as a majority shareholder in the label and refund the rest.
Harrysong wrote; “I’m here to beg you all to help me beg Kingsley Okonkwo, known as Kcee to refund my money and release my songs.
“For more than 7 years now, he’s been the one collecting 100% of my royalties from all my big songs, Reggea blues, Baba for the girls, Samankwe, Better Pikin and Ofeshe. It’s not fair.
“At least, he can take his percentage and give me what is rightfully mine. Na beg I dey beg am, I know he likes to bully, he’s the Power Mike, help me beg him, the songs are mine, he should at least be fair to give me what is rightfully mine. May God not let us work, and another man just be reaping our hard end sweat in Jesus name”.
