Big Brother Naija star, Erica Nlewedim has advised ladies who wish to date men that are less successful than they are, to be cautious.
She dished the cautionary advice in reaction to a trending story of an entrepreneur and Face of Beauty Nigeria founder, Patience Patra Idehen, whose husband exploited her and fled when she became broke.
Patricia recalled getting married to her man when she was still a student at the University of Benin. While studying, the business she operated was booming and because her husband was still a student, she became the bread winner.
The heartbroken lady who revealed that they started dating in 2017 and settled down in 2018 opened up on how everything changed after she started losing her finances, properties and source of income.
She said her husband, whom she was practically taking care of, abandoned her with their two children and she has to beg to feed them.
In response to the pitiable tale, Erica advised ladies against settling with less financially buoyant men because they tend to be jealous.
She tweeted; “Men not doing as well as their partners are always jealous, and look for ways to humble you. Ladies beware!”
Also, Erica’s colleague, Kim Oprah commented; “Very scary shxxt, and it happens more often than we know.”
