In other news, an elderly Kenyan man has been left totally devastated after a young lady he took on vacation absconded with all his money.

He was said to have sold two acres of land belonging to his family without seeking their permission and used the money to pick up a young girl in Kisumu.

The man then bought two plane tickets and flew her to Mombasa for a vacation and booked a lodge for them to stay.

However, in the course of staying there, she drugged him with a local substance called ‘rice’ and when he fell asleep, she disappeared with the money from the sale of the land.

According to Ezra Kibet who shared the story on Twitter, the man was left stranded at the hotel as he could not settle the bill and was almost having heart attack as a result of what the girl did to him.

He shared a video which showed the old man hitting himself in anger after realising he had been played.

Ezra wrote; “This man sold 2 acres of land, without family consent. Picked a lady in Kisumu, boarded a plane to Mombasa for holiday. The lady gave him “rice” and left with the money. He’s now stranded at an hotel reception, under pressure”.
