The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has penned some words of encouragement for music superstar, Davido in celebration of his birthday.
Davido clocked 31 on November 21, 2023, and the former Anambra state governor commended him for his philanthropy work.
In a birthday message via Twitter, Obi noted that the Omo Baba Olowo has helped nurture many talents in the music industry through his charity.
He prayed for God to bless the singer with good health and fruitful years as well as the grace to make more impacts in Nigeria.
Obi wrote: “My dear @davido (David Adedeji Adeleke), I rejoice and celebrate with you as you mark your birthday today.
“Through years of hard work, you have developed your musical talent, through which you have not only risen to fame but, through your charity work, helped many young talents grow in the industry.
“On your special day, I pray God to grant you more healthy and fruitful years and give you the grace to make more positive impacts on the nation. Happy birthday, Davido!”

A 32-year-old man identified as Adeosun Adeola, has been arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court for claiming that N1.6 million kept in his custody by another man disappeared by spiritual means.
Apata said Adeola conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace by claiming that N1.6 million kept in his custody by one Mr Adedeji Oluwaseun went missing in his bank account by spiritual means.
He alleged that the defendant fraudulently converted the sum to his own use, in contravention of Sections 181(d) and 295(2) (a) of the Criminal Laws of Ekiti State, 2021.
