Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema met American pop music icon, Madonna for the first time and she was filled with praises for him.
The meeting happened backstage after his electrifying performance at the Raves and Roses concert in New York, USA.
In a video which is circulating on social media, the two musicians could be seen greeting each other warmly.
They firstly shared a deep hug after which Madonna asked if the star had fun, and he answered in the affirmative.
She said; “I’m very proud of you and I love you. You’re a great performer.”
On his part, Rema also disclosed how much he admires the pop Queen, stating that she was a great inspiration to him.

Meanwhile, award-winning American singer, Selena Gomez, was recently spotted being cozy with Nigerian musician, Divine Ikubor better known as Rema.
The Mavin and Jonzing Records artiste just recently had his sold-out Raves & Roses show in Los Angeles, California.
Selena Gomez attended the concert which saw Rema meet fans expectations as it turned out to be a huge success.
However, one of the highlights of the night was when the Hollywood actress hugged and kissed the ‘Calm Down’ crooner backstage.
Rema shared a video of the sights and sounds from his show while declaring love for Selena in the caption.
Also, in attendance was Grammy-nominated rapper, 6lack who came to show support to his Nigerian counterpart. Rema made sure to also thank him for being there for him.
Sharing the video, the Mavin star wrote; ”LA gave me a butterflies. Love you @Selenagomez and big ups to my brother @6lack for keeping it real with me.”
