A Nigerian man has revealed that some police officers extorted him on Tuesday when he was driving his scooter bike home from work.
The guy known on Twitter as @WoruleCool said the road leading to his house is bad which was why he could not drive out with his car.
He said he was returning home on the scooter around 7:30pm when police men flagged him down and he showed them his ID card. But despite verifying his identity, the officers seized the bike and forced him to withdraw N50,000.
Cole shared evidence to back up his claim and wrote; “I was on my way home from work on Tuesday around 7:30pm because the road to my house is not good. I always repair my car. I had to use my scooter bike. The ijede police men stopped me after verifying my ID card seized my bike and extorted a sum of #50k amidst pleadings.
