Young man who makes N800k per month wonders why he often goes broke despite not spending lavishly

A 26-year-old Nigerian man, Mark Ebere has lamented over what some may term absence of sound financial decisions.

He revealed that he earns N800,000 salary monthly, and he does not live an extravagant life, however, he finds it hard to understand why he is not rich.

Kelechi said that he lives comfortably, does not go clubbing or womanise and he spend on only food, transport and miscellaneous.

He, however, revealed that he has no investments or savings. The young man lamented about his situation and sought financial advise from netizens.

He wrote; “Bro, i’m 26m. Earn 800k a month, minus bonuses. I live alone and comfortably. I live from hand to mouth. I have zero savings and investments. I can swear that i’m not wasteful cos i dont club nor womanise.

I don’t even buy fuel, i use an inverter. I just spend on food, uber, occasional black tax. But I am always short of money every month. I don’t understand.”

In related news, a Ghanaian lady revealed that she is displeased with the salary her boyfriend earns and she is considering telling him to resign.

She went online to vent about how he hustles everyday only to receive 1000 Ghc (approximately N38,000) at the end of the month.

The lady said she gets angry and irritated when ever he tells her that he’s at work and whats even worse is when he retursn home to continue working on what he could not finish at the office.

She said; “My boyfriend’s salary pisses me off. When he tells me he’s at work i get irritated. I wish i could tell him to quit and stay at home and sleep.

He makes 1000gh (approximately N38k) a month. I don’t see the difference between being jobless and his job. Before the month ends he’s already broke. I see it as being busy for nothing

I am relaxed paaaa but it irritates me. Especially when he gets home and he has to complete some work stuff. 1000gh you are sanso working overtime smh.”
