Young man who got N400k from Skiibii for his girlfriend’s hair invests the money in her business
A Nigerian couple who went viral last year when singer, Skiibii gifted them a whopping sum of N400,000 have given update on how the money was used.
CorrectNG recalls that in October 2022, a young man braided his girlfriend’s hair because he couldn’t afford to get her human wig.
He had shared a video which showed how he surprised his girlfriend with a new hairstyle. The boyfriend asked the girl to loosen her hair because he wanted to take her somewhere, and she obliged.
They boarded a bike to a saloon where he paid the hairstylist to do a simple cornrow for her. When they got home, the girlfriend wasn’t happy with the work the hairstylist had done, so her boyfriend decided to braid the hair for her.
Towards the end, the guy promised to get his girlfriend a wig when he has the money. When the video went viral it caught the attention of Skiibii, who gave him N400k to buy a wig for his lover.
The couple took to social media to express gratitude by going down on their knees and thanking God as well as the ‘Baddest Boy’ crooner for the gift, but they said the cash gift was actually too much for them to use to buy a wig.
In a fresh clip making the rounds online, the young man revealed that they eventually invested the money in his babe’s business.
He said that the profit from the business is what they finally used to buy a wig costing N150,000 for her. They again appreciated everyone who made them go viral and showed off the new wig.
