A South African man, Mvuyo Makhasi has expressed gratitude to his father who supported him when he was a child striving to ace his education and come out successful.

He took to Twitter to narrate how his dad had been driving an iskoroko (old vehicle) everywhere, from debate tournaments to prize giving days and even to his registration at college.

Many years later, after the young man has become a success, he bought a new truck and replaced his father’s old one to thank him and make him happy.

Sharing photos of himself, father and the car, Mvuyo wrote;

“My dad has been driving iskoroko all my life. He drove me to prize giving evenings at school, debate tournaments, even my registration at Wits.

Today, I gifted him with this car and I feel so blessed to be able to make this part of his life as blissful as possible.”
