You wey dey sing Yoruba proverb music – Burna Boy fires back at Brymo

International Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy has replied to the condescending comments that Olawale “Brymo” Oloforo made towards him.

CorrectNG that Brymo said the Grammy winning singer is not up to his standard in terms of music. He stated this on an episode of Bae U’s Curiosity Made Me Ask show, while reacting to Burna Boy’s diss freestyle where he insinuated that Brymo has “fallen off.”

According to the Ara crooner, there is nothing on earth that would make him feature the self acclaimed African Giant, stressing that they would never be on the same song.

Brymo said; “Is it [the diss freestyle] not Burna Boy lyrics? But he would like to know that nothing in this world would put his name in my song. He no reach my standard”.

“I’m not proud enough. I’m probably the finest vocalist on the continent. Better than anybody. I’m not thinking. I know this.

“And yeah, even Twitter guys can’t disagree with him despite the hate. You can win an Award, but that doesn’t mean you’re the best man for that award.”

Brymo had also accused Burna Boy of stealing his unreleased song which serves as an inspiration to his songs, “City Boy” and “I told you”.

However, in a recent post, Burna who referred to himself as a King, noted that anyone is willing to do or say anything to get at him. He mocked the formr Choc City artiste by saying that he only sings Yoruba music proverb.

The artiste wrote: “At this point they do and say Anything to get at the KING. werey dey sing Yoruba proverb music for us When K1 and Saheed Osupa dem still dey carry us trabaye.”
