You refused to drop my surname after you filed for divorce – Yul Edochie demands bride price from May

Controversial Nigerian actor, Yul Edochie, has revealed that his estranged wife, May Edochie filed for divorce from him.

He made the revelation in the latest series of dragging on his Instagram page adding that she refused to officially drop Edochie from her name despite wanting the marriage dissolved.

Yul demanded reimbursement of the bride price that he paid to marry her, noting that he has been asking them to return the dowry he paid for her, but her family refused for reasons known to them.

He wrote; “You have filed for divorce. Yet you refused to drop my name. Return the bride price I paid, you & your family refused.

I have asked for the return of the bride price a couple of times, you people vehemently refused. I don’t understand why.”

Meanwhile, he called her out earlier for allegedly doing breast enlargement surgery during the period she was supposed to be mourning their child.

Yul also claimed May has a married boyfriend, who supposedly backed her surgery. The actor said he was tired of her manipulating people on social media to hate him.

He wrote: “2023 stole your flesh & blood, but you still had enough time to do breast enlargement surgery and tummy tuck without your husband’s consent. Obviously endorsed by your married boyfriend. Enough of the manipulation.

Stop manipulating people on social media to hate me and feel pity for you while you enjoy your life secretly. Because they don’t know the real you. I will not take it in 2024.

I’ve been silent for too long. I’ve been doing my best to protect your image while you’re doing all you can to destroy mine. ENOUGH.”
