You must pay to take pictures with me – Rapper Speed Darlington

Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Darlington Okoye, known professionally as Speed Darlington, has said that he deserves to be paid for “being a celebrity.”

The US-based musician said anybody who wants to take pictures with him must be ready to pay for it.

Speedy stated this while appearing on the latest episode of The Honest Bunch podcast, co-hosted by actor, Nedu.

It may be recalled that a video of him went viral last month when he was said to have demanded N5,000 from fans who wanted selfies with him at a shopping mall.

Speaking on the incident, the rapper insisted that he deserved to be paid for just “being a celebrity.”

He said; “I really think I should be paid for being a celebrity.”

Nedu told him that without fans’ love, he wouldn’t be a celebrity.

But Speed Darlington countered him saying; “What generates that love? Why them no hug mad man for road?”

In other entertainment news, Seun said that celebrity blogger, Tunde Ednut wanted his police assault case to end with him being imprisoned.

He claimed during an Instagram live session that Tunde wanted him to go to jail because he was owing him money from a past deal they struck.

Seun said he paid the singer turned blogger to do 10 promotional posts for him two years ago, but he did only one.

According to him, Tunde still owes him nine posts and because he could not do the remaining or refund the money, he was actively pushing for him to be sent to prison.

Seun revealed that Tunde is the only blogger in Nigeria that has his number that that communicates with directly.

The Afrobeats sensation said that the ‘Jingle Bell’ singer’s recent posts attacking him online was just so that he would be sent away and not have be able to request he keeps to the end of the deal.

“Tunde Ednut wants me to go to Jail because he is owing me money. I paid him for 10 posts 2 years ago and he posted only one,” Seun said.
