Yeezy scandal: Davido invites Kanye West to join him at Puma

Nigerian music star, David Adeleke aka Davido has advised American Hip Hop mogul, Kanye West to join him at Puma following the latter’s public criticism of Adidas on social media.

The 46-year-old rapper had called out Adidas for selling a Yeezy design without his approval and exploiting his loyal fan base.

He also claimed that the fashion brand was selling fake Yeezy sneakers and using his name despite terminating its collaboration with him in 2022 over a string of antisemitic remarks.

Kanye West lamented in a video shared via his Instagram on Monday, while calling out Adidas for the alleged exploitation

He said; “Not only are they [Adidas] putting out fake colorways that are non-approved, they’re suing me for $250 million and they’re also not paying me for these shoes that they’re putting out that have my name on it.”

In reaction to West’s outburst, Davido, who is a global ambassador of Adidas rival Puma, tagged the rapper and offered him an invitation to collaborate with Puma.

”Come to @puma Ye @kanyewest,” OBO wrote via his Instagram page.
