Yahoo boys are now targeting Nigerians because y’all encouraged them – OAP N6 blows hot

On Air Personality, N6, has said that the current trend of internet fraudsters (Yahoo boys) gaining access into the bank accounts of Nigerians and emptying it, is because they were encouraged.

He noted that people supported and encouraged Yahoo Yahoo when the victims were primarily white folks, but now that they have turned on their own the same are crying.

N6 stated this on the heels of a young lady disclosing that N4million was cleared from her account and an elderly woman losing her N800k life savings.

Taking to Twitter, the radio host wrote; “The Yahoo Yahoo that Nigerians. Supported and Encouraged when It was targeted at Defrauding mostly Oyibo & Foreigners don begin Nack regular Nigerians with Accounts in Nigerian Banks.”

In related news, social media commentator, Daniel Regha has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC) to introduce a reward system that will make it easier for them to apprehend internet fraudsters aka Yahoo Boys.

He recommended that the EFCC should start offering cash rewards to people who disclose vital information about Yahoo boys to the commission.

Regha pegged the amount at N1million and noted that it will sufficiently motivate Nigerians to report fraudsters who may be their friends or family members.

He wrote; “The EFCC should start offering a cash reward to anyone who reports yahoo boys, a significant amt like N1m; This will get many people to snitch on friends, relatives & neighbours. The war against yahoo boys should be taken seriously cos these cybercriminals are nothing but monsters.”

Meanwhile, a Nigerian recently said she prefers getting married to an internet fraudster who is into Yahoo Plus than being with a man who has a regular job.

She explained that Yahoo Plus Boys usually cash out with the help of jazz so they which is a guaranteed way of making sure there is endless supply of money.

She said Yahoo boys are better than working class men because they can always renew their wealth whenever it looks like money is getting exhausted.

According to her, if a working class man goes broke, he has no immediate way of getting rich or escaping financial problems.
