CorrectNG recalls that Kogi state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba said the government planned to prosecute all the suspects involved in the burying of an 11-year-old boy, alive.

A teenager, Goodness Oshodi was caught burying his little stepbrother, Friday Oshodi for allegedly stealing N1,000 in Apamisede, Zango Daji, Adavi Local Government area of Kogi state.

In a viral video, the suspect claimed that he was instructed by his mother to punish the erring boy. The elder brother had already buried his sibling up to the neck level when he was apprehended by neighbours.

Speaking on the incident, the commissioner said the ministry is also making all the necessary arrangements to put the victim in an orphanage home.

Buba said; The victim Friday Oshodi is currently in our custody while the prime suspect Goodness Oshodi is in Police net. This is wickedness in the highest order. How will somebody bury his fellow human alive?

The woman who ordered the punishment of this young boy is currently at large. I’m assuring the general public that she will be arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.
