Woman kidnapped days before relocating abroad regains freedom after payment of N20m ransom

A Nigerian woman reportedly kidnapped days ago, has been released after the payment of ransom to her abductors.

This was made known by her friend, Dev Tobs, who raised an alarm about the abduction on microblogging platform, Twitter on December 5.

The young man said N20 million ransom was paid to secure her release and she has been reunited with her family.

“God !! God!! Thank you !! My friend is back home !!! Got bailed with 20m +, My fear for NG just tripled. Crazzy !!!!! 💔” he wrote.

CorrectNG recalls that Tobs had revealed that the lady tried several times to get a visa for years, but failed, sadly, now that she’s gotten it, kidnappers have taken her.

He said she secured the visa this year and was supposed to leave Nigeria on 17th of December only for the abduction to happen.

DevTobs wrote; “My friend got kidnapped!!!!. She has consistently failed at getting a visa for years to come up here, she luckily got it this year and was set to move on the 17th. Now they’ve kidnapped her. NG is just…… I don’t even know how to feel💔💔”
