Popular Nigerian Singer and Starboy Entertainment founder, Ayo Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid has suspended the release of his highly anticipated Made In Lagos album, till further notice.
Wizkid’s ‘Made in Lagos’ was due to drop on October 15, 2020 but as a result of the ongoing protests against police Brutality and extra-judicial killings in Nigeria, the singer has postponed the album’s release date indefinitely.
The Fever crooner has been amongst Nigerian celebrities who have been lending their voice to the call to end police brutality in Nigeria as he participated in an #EndSARS protest which took place in the UK over the weekend.
A fan had taken to micro-blogging platform, Twitter page to ask if Wizkid still had plans for to release the album and he responded by implying there are more pressing issues to address.
“#SarsMustGoNow ……but @wizkidayo MIL go still drop?” the fan asked.
Wizkid simply replied; “Not yet !! Mad times!!”
