Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Ladipo Eso popularly known as Ladipoe, has said that Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun is not a source of inspiration to him in terms of music.
The Mavin Records act made the comment on Tuesday, 16th January 2024 via Twitter while responding to a fan’s question.
Ladipoe said that though Wizkid does not inspire him musically, he derives inspiration from the ‘Joro’ crooner’s personality and business acumen
It all started with the rapper tweeting, “RnB inspired me just as much as Hip Hop did”
A fan with username @_okikiola_1 asked; So Basically wizkid is part of people who inspired you.
In response, Ladipoe said; “Musically no. Persona and business acumen definitely”
Another tweep, @Bankz_12345 added; 😂😂😂 how mid won inspire person

CorrectNG reported earlier that musician and reality TV star, Tope Adenibuyan, popularly known as Teddy A revealed who he’d love to work with among the top three leading Afrobeats singers.
He said that he would have loved to collaborate with Damini Ogulu also known as Burna Boy ahead of his counterparts, Ayo ”Wizkid” and David ”Davido” Adeleke.
Teddy A revealed his preference during an interview with Naija 102.7 FM, Lagos when asked if he has the opportunity to work with any of them for his Extended Play (EP).
According to the Big Brother Naija 2018 contestant, he would love to work with the trio but Burna Boy remains his “first choice.”
