Reacting, to the development, Alibaba pointed out that it is not right because they appear to be doing it to only women. He recalled when ICPC operatives arrested actress, Simi Gold for the same offence and secured a conviction.

In a now-deleted post, the stand-up comedian kicked shared a video on his Instagram story of ‘big men’ spraying the Naira at an event, and wondered why they were not also arrested.

Alibaba wrote: “And Bobrisky was arrested for what again? Because they are men? This is not right. The other time one celebrity lady was sentenced for this same thing. Now, EFCC has arrested another lady for the same thing that men get away with. The way we treat women in this country is not good. Mennnnnn… I just tayaaa.”

Meanwhile, EFCC disclosed that Bobrisky will be arraigned on Friday, April 6 for money laundering and mutilation of the Naira.
