Why people hate me – Burna Boy

Popular Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has given a terse explanation to why he is “hated” in the music industry.

The self-acclaimed African Giant, who recently declared that Afrobeats lacks substance, claims he is hated by his “inferiors” because he has no “superiors.”

Burna Boy shared a photo of himself on Twitter and wrote, “Hated by my inferiors for having no superiors”.

Also, in ‘Thank You’, a track off his latest album, ‘I Told Them’ Burna Boy insinuated that Nigerians don’t appreciate him enough despite making the country proud “every chance I get.”

The Grammy winner said he was aware that he had paid any blog for publicity or to avoid posting negative reports about him before.

Burna Boy called out some media organisations via his Twitter account on Friday, and urged them deliberate on a price and pass it to him to ‘settle them’.

He wrote, “How far. all these Instablog, PulseNg e.t.c, abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!!
