The ‘Boring Days’ singer who spoke during a media parley in Lagos, hopes to establish her career in Nigeria despite being based in the United Kingdom.

Effs said; “Some of my favourite Nigerian artistes, who I will like to collaborate with, are Davido, Adekunle Gold, Chike, Ayra Starr, and a couple of others. Nigerians have been incredible when it comes to the arts in general. I also admire Don Jazzy, especially with the way he has evolved over the years.”

“I have always loved music. I did not even know I was a talented songwriter; I just used to write songs, and I thought everybody could do that as well. It was not until I grew older that I realised it was a gift. And, that was then I started taking songwriting more seriously.”

Speaking on her plans for the year, Effs said she plans to visit Nigeria more and will try to diversify into other areas of entertainment.

The curvy artiste said; “I am going to be visiting Nigeria more this year. Aside from my latest single titled, ‘I Like That’, I plan to release an Extended Play album as well. I also intend to host a dance talent show. I am a woman of many parts too, so I will likely diversify into other areas of the entertainment industry.”
