We used to drink garri but you forgot me after you blew – Fireboy’s childhood friend makes demand

An up-and-coming Nigerian singer, Bank Alat has claimed that he and Afrobeats star, Fireboy DML are old-time friends who experienced struggles together.

He took to Twitter (X) to celebrate Fireboy’s 28th birthday on Monday February 5, and reminded him of the time they used to drink garri together.

The young artiste stated that he is entitled to the ‘Peru’ hit maker’s money and as such he deserves to be helped out of the trenches.

According to Bank Alat, after Fireboy DML hit stardom, he forgot about him, so he is still struggling because the music star left him to be hustling alone in the trenches.

He shared a throwback photo of them together and wrote; “Happy birthday Fireboy I remember when you never blow we been dey drink garri together, now you don blow forget me for Trenches I still dey struggle. Omo me I’m entitled to your money oo.”

CorrectNG reported earlier that Kelvin Atobiloye, the bouncer of popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, got a strange request from fans amid newfound fame.

They were are trying to get him to clash with controversial online activist, Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkman.

The bodyguard recently went live on TikTok and hundreds of people joined the session, however, as he was trying to connect with fans, one of them requested that he pays the online activist a visit.

A social media user asked Kelvin to beat up VeryDarkman, and this may not be unconnected with his controversial takes on issues of public concern.

Reacting to the request, Kizz Daniel’s bouncer left many surprised when he declined and gave an unexpected answer. The heavily built man revealed that he knows VeryDarkMan personally and they have been friends since childhood.

Kelvin responded; “VeryDarkMan na my childhood friend, nothing dey shake that guy o, make una free am.”
