Shallipopi’s former course mate, has claimed that the buzzing singer cut his friends off after he became a celebrity.
He made the revelation while being interviewed by content creator, Oka Swiss at the ‘Elon Musk’ hit-maker’s music event in Benin City, Edo.
The young man who claims he attended Auchi Polytechnic with Shallipopi, said that when the entertainer blew up, he deleted their phone numbers because of their disturbance.
According to him, when they were still undergraduates, Shallipopi always moved around campus like a big boy and he didn’t always attend lectures until it exams.
When asked whether he still had the musician’s phone number, he answered in the negative, noting that the TikTok sensation blocked most of them.
Despite his revelation, the ex-coursemate was still visibly excited for Shallipopi’s progress and wished him all the best in his future endeavors. He added that he understood Shallipopi’s reason for deleting and blocking them.

Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka known by his stage name, Ruger, has claimed to have been surrounded by the ‘wrong people’ last year.
The ‘Asiwaju’ crooner took to his Instastory and said he slacked in 2023 due to the nature of friends and associates around him.
Ruger explained that the energy of the people in question affected him so much to a point where he stopped feeling like himself.
The singer further stated that he left the wrong people behind in 2023, stressing that he would be mad, dangerous, selfish and loving man this year.
Ruger wrote; “2023, I slacked. I had the wrong people around me and I let them affect my energy. It got to a point that I didn’t feel like ruger anymore. Anyways, I’ve left each and everyone of them in 2023. In 2024, I am a mad, dangerous, selfish and loving man.”
