Nigerian musician, Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington, has lamented over the economic hardship and declining value of the naira.
In a video posted on social media, Darlington expressed sadness after ordering a bowl of soup and pounded yam, which came with only one meat.
According to Speedy, he ordered special Ogbono soup and when it was delivered, it did not come with two or more pieces of goat meat as he expected.
The internet sensation said he was charged N10,000 for the small portion of food and this infuriated him to the point that he said the naira is not a valuable currency and nobody can fix the problem.
He stated that the only solution is for there to be a declaration of Biafra as a sovereign nation so that there can be a new currency for transactions as there is no way to help make the naira increase in value.
Speed Darlington said; “Nigeria is getting harder and harder. I ordered ogbono soup yesterday, one goat meat, two poundo, no be me call am special, na the restaurant. I paid ten thousand naira.
Nigeria is hellfire, Biafra is our only hope, we need new money, new currency, new evaluation. This currency don cast. There is no way to fix it.”
